About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neonatal Transport Consultant to join our team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our transport service, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the transport of critically ill neonates and children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the transport of critically ill neonates and children
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the transport service
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of education and training programs for transport staff
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Specialist registration in Paediatrics, Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine, Neonatology, or a related specialty
  • Significant experience in neonatal and paediatric intensive care
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
