About the Position


Law Staff Legal Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Barrister to join their Advocacy Team as a Senior Advocate - Personal Injury Specialist.


This role is perfect for a skilled lawyer with personal injury experience, though we are open to candidates with a broader litigation background.


Key Responsibilities



  • Undertake advocacy in claimant personal injury litigation.
  • Draft advices, pleadings, and skeleton arguments.
  • Keep updated with procedural changes, case law, and legislation.
  • Assist less experienced advocates with advocacy and drafting work.
  • Travel extensively across England and Wales, potentially requiring overnight stays.

Requirements



  • Hold a current practising certificate.
  • Have Higher Rights of Audience (if applicable).
  • Possess strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules.
  • Demonstrate proven advocacy experience.
  • Show ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

The Opportunity


We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience, along with flexible working hours, 25 days of holiday (rising to 28), plus public/bank holidays, private medical insurance, and access to gym and social committee events.
