Job Summary

This Supervising Barrister position is an excellent opportunity for a practising Barrister with over 5 years' experience to gain supervisory experience and work as part of a fantastic team. The role involves handling a broad and interesting caseload, undertaking advocacy requirements, and supervising two pupil barristers.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking advocacy on behalf of a leading North West personal injury firm, covering a full range of hearings and trials. This will include liability, quantum, and causation disputes. The candidate will also be required to advise, research, analyse, and/or draft where necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake advocacy on behalf of a leading North West personal injury firm
  • Supervise two pupil barristers as part of the firm's in-house advocacy team
  • Handle a broad and interesting caseload of hearings and trials
  • Advise, research, analyse, and/or draft where necessary

Requirements

  • Practising Barrister with over 5 years' experience
  • Previous personal injury experience is preferable
  • Full rights of audience are required
  • Excellent advocacy and communication skills
  • Strong research and problem-solving abilities
