Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring continuity of learning and minimizing disruption to students.
  • Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment, promoting student engagement and motivation.
  • Provide support and assistance to students as needed, helping them to stay on task and achieve their academic goals.
  • Liaise with teaching staff and school management to ensure effective cover arrangements and maintain open communication.
Requirements
  • Experience working in an educational setting, preferably as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role.
  • Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to manage behavior and create a productive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students, teachers, and school staff.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with a strong understanding of child protection policies and procedures.
