About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team in Bishop's Stortford. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of education for our students during the short-term absence of their regular teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes and manage classroom behaviour to create a positive learning environment.
  • Ensure students remain on task with the work set by the regular teacher.
  • Provide support and assistance to students as needed.
  • Liaise with teaching staff and school management to ensure effective cover arrangements.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in an educational setting, preferably as a Cover Supervisor.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
