Payroll Assistant Position

Trial Balance Consulting, a services sector business operating on an international scale, is seeking a skilled Payroll Assistant for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The role offers a hybrid working policy, allowing the successful candidate to complete most hours remotely and be part of a vibrant and supportive finance team responsible for processing UK payrolls.

  • Handle initial payroll and pension queries accurately and promptly.
  • Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Process monthly payrolls via BACS accurately and efficiently.
  • Upload pension data and provide detailed payroll information to stakeholders.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties, including preparing and inputting new starters' and leavers' details.

The ideal candidate will possess prior payroll experience, up-to-date knowledge of current payroll and pension legislations, and proficient Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. The company offers excellent benefits, including generous holiday allowance, a superb pension scheme, and various non-financial additions.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
