About the Role

Vodafone UK is seeking a skilled Retail Asset Manager to join our Corporate team. As a key member of our Property Team, you will be responsible for delivering all estates functions for our large retail portfolio across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of acquisitions and disposals on advantageous terms in accordance with agreed plans.
  • Oversee a significant headlease and sub-tenant lease renewal programme.
  • Build and maintain relationships with landlords and tenants across the retail portfolio, including the sub-tenanted estate.
  • Ensure statutory and contractual property payments and receipts, including Commercial Business rates.
  • Deliver the retail strategy, including operational programmes and targets, and ensure compliance with Company Governance.
  • Effectively manage external suppliers and contracts.
  • Budget and forecast estate expenditure.
  • Contribute to functional strategy and projects, defining standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of managing an evolving retail store portfolio.
  • Ability to work closely with external property consultants.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
  • Demonstrable understanding of commercial property management processes, objectives, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills to persuade and influence stakeholders.
  • Solution-oriented approach to continuously improve deliverables within large property projects.
