Responsibilities

As a key member of the Clinical team, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) Systems. Your role will involve defining our products by translating customer requirements into system design specifications, ensuring that developments meet safety and effectiveness standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with product owners to understand system context and develop user requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to generate system designs and architectures.
  • Own system verification and validation documents to provide test evidence.
  • Lead the development and support of existing Waters Clinical systems and technologies.
  • Promote the use of systems engineering tools, processes, and practices.
  • Ensure consideration of risk and patient safety in product development.
Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary engineering team environment, particularly with LC and/or mass spectrometry or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in the development of LC and/or MS instrumentation or similar scientific or analytical instrumentation.
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment and understand high-level software and electro-mechanical architecture.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to generate reports and communicate effectively with staff and peers.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Computer literacy, with knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is an advantage.
