Theatre Practitioner Job Summary


Optical Express is recruiting a Theatre Practitioner to join our ophthalmic surgery team. The ideal candidate will have previous theatre or scrub experience and be registered with the NMC or HCPC.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Laser Vision Correction – Scrub
  • Intraocular Lens (Cataract) – Scrub
  • Anaesthetic assistant
  • Pre-operative assessments
  • Undertake pre-screening diagnostic duties
  • Discharge patients with after-care advice and medications
  • Medicines management
