We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Senior Practitioner to join our team at Auchnacraig Early Learning Childcare Centre.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in early years education, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and learning experiences for children. As a key member of our centre team, you will be responsible for leading the development of parental engagement initiatives and ensuring that all nursery activities are aligned with the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence.

This is a part-time term-time post, with salary pro-rata to the number of hours worked. The estimated annual salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000, depending on experience.

About the Role

  • To lead and develop the centre's parental engagement initiatives and identify creative ways to involve parents/carers in the life of the nursery.
  • To provide high-quality play experiences within the nursery setting and ensure that high standards of education are maintained following the curriculum and guidance documents.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve centre goals and objectives.
