About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Chronic Pain Management to join our Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with chronic pain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective pain management strategies for patients with chronic pain
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in chronic pain management to ensure best practices are implemented
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • MB ChB, MBBS or equivalent medical degree
  • Fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine
  • Holder of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or within six months of award of CCT or equivalent by date of interview
Desirable Criteria
  • Higher Medical Degree (MD or MSc)
  • Six month advanced general training
  • Post CCT experience in chronic pain medicine
