About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified individual to join our team as Head of Finance - Governance. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our financial governance function and play a key role in supporting the Associate Director of Finance in the management of the Financial governance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of financial governance, capital, treasury management and control within the Trust.
  • Support the Associate Director of Finance in the management of the Financial governance team.
  • Collaborate with the finance senior team to drive financial performance and improvement.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and reports.
Requirements
  • CCAB Fully Qualified.
  • Working experience in a managerial role.
  • Experience of working in a public sector at a senior role.
  • Experience of staff management.
  • Experience of supporting and management of contracts.
  • Experience of managing annual accounts process.
  • Experience of preparing, writing and presenting to non-financial leaders.
  • Able to work and influence senior managers and clinicians.
  • Able to research and implement new processes.
