Logistics Sales Specialist

Streamline Search is proud to represent a well-established client in the Freight and Logistics sector, with nearly five decades of experience. This organization operates within the vibrant logistics hub of the Southeast, managing the import and export of various cargo types through multiple transportation modes, including Air, Sea, Road, and Rail.

We are seeking a dynamic Sales & Development Specialist who possesses a comprehensive understanding of all transport modalities to join their thriving team.

Logistics Sales Specialist - Key Responsibilities

1. Identify and pursue your own business opportunities while also acting on leads provided by Sales and Operations teams.
2. Drive new sales initiatives, covering FCL / LCL sea freight, air freight, and road freight for both import and export operations.
3. Adapt to working both in-office and in the field as required.
4. The ability to leverage existing transferable business will be considered a significant advantage.
5. Prepare accurate quotations with the appropriate terms and conditions.

Logistics Sales Specialist - Essential Qualifications

1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in selling sea, air, and road freight within a forwarding context.
2. Proven track record in sales and business development.
3. Strong overall knowledge of the global logistics industry.
4. Excellent negotiation skills.
5. Robust telesales experience.
6. High attention to detail.
7. Effective communication skills paired with a personable demeanor.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Logistics Sales Specialist - Compensation and Benefits

1. Standard working hours: Monday to Friday (Apply online only)hrs
2. Salary range: £30,000-£35,000
3. Commission structure
4. Standard holiday entitlement plus bank holidays
5. Onsite parking available
