WR Logistics is seeking a skilled Customs Clearance Specialist to join our team in Tilbury, UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for arranging import clearances for our clients, ensuring timely and accurate processing within HMRC guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process import clearances for key clients, adhering to HMRC guidelines and regulations.
  • Communicate with customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors to obtain and provide required information for customs clearances.
  • Offer guidance to customers on importing goods into the UK, including commodity codes, customs procedure guidance, and general requirements for importing products.
  • Raise invoices, including duty/VAT invoices, and provide manual calculations of taxes to customers as needed.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of at least two years working in a small to medium-sized freight forwarder within the UK.
  • Previous experience with processing and completing entries using CDS.
  • Confidence navigating HMRC's online tariffs.
  • Knowledge of FTA and other relevant trade regulations.
