Job Title: Principal Verification Engineer

At ARM, we are seeking a highly skilled Principal Verification Engineer to join our Systems Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for verifying and testing sophisticated IP, including CPU/GPU/DSP processors with memory controllers and interconnect fabrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans, defining methodologies and ensuring quality levels are met
  • Collaborate with project management and leads on planning tasks, setting schedules, and quality checkpoints
  • Work with engineers from other teams, including architecture, design, implementation, modeling, performance analysis, silicon validation, FPGA, and board development
  • Mentor junior members and contribute to the growth of the team
Requirements:
  • Experience with embedded C/C++ based SoC verification environments
  • Knowledge of assembly language (ARM) and hardware verification languages (SystemVerilog)
  • Experience with shell programming/scripting (Tcl, Perl, Python)
  • Understanding of verification methodologies (UVM, formal, low power, emulation)
  • Practical experience with verifying processor-based system designs
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have:
  • Understanding of Arm system architectures
  • Power-aware and Clock Domain Crossing implementation
  • Experience with embedded operating systems, device drivers, microprocessor, and embedded system hardware architectures
  • Experience verifying subsystems for PCIe, LPDDR, HBM, UCIe, Ethernet
  • Development and deployment of large SoCs on emulation platforms
