Audit Manager Assistant

Fletcher George, a highly successful firm of Chartered Accountants in Surrey, is seeking a skilled Assistant Audit Manager to join their team. As a key member of the audit team, you will be responsible for reviewing audit assignments, drafting audit opinions, and providing technical support on complex matters of UK GAAP and UK ISAs.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and draft audit opinions, considering qualifications and ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and UK ISAs.
- Produce complex, detailed, and group statutory accounts within Caseware, utilizing your technical skills and expertise.
- Provide detailed technical support on complex matters of UK GAAP and UK ISAs, ensuring accurate and timely completion of audit assignments.
- Coach, mentor, and supervise junior members of the team, fostering a culture of excellence and professional development.
- Liaise with clients regarding audit timetables, accounting issues, and other matters, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Resource planning, including managing workflow, prioritizing assignments, and monitoring audit work in progress.
- Identify efficiency opportunities during review of assignments and implement process improvements to enhance audit quality and productivity.
- Identify additional audit billing opportunities and cross-selling for advisory services, driving business growth and revenue.
