We are seeking an experienced Autism Support Specialist to join our team at a fantastic Sunderland primary school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for assisting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and will be able to work effectively as part of a team within the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1:1 support to students with ASD, promoting independence and personal development.
- Work coherently with teachers to provide support for students with SEN.
- Develop and implement strategies to support students with barriers to learning, including ASD, ADHD, PMLD, VI, and HI.
- Collaborate with the school team to ensure that all students receive a high-quality education.
- Experience working 1:1 with students with ASD and other SEN.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with teachers and other staff.
- Passion for assisting students with ASD and promoting their independence and personal development.
- Experience working in an SEN school setting or social care.
- Competitive rates between £350 to £400 per week.
- Weekly pay.
- Access to CPD training.
- Refer a friend scheme.
We are looking for individuals who are available both full-time and part-time. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
