Job Title: Autism Tutor

Prospero Teaching is seeking a highly skilled Autism Tutor to provide one-to-one Maths and English support to students with Autism and ADHD who have been out of mainstream education for some time. The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, a strong understanding of Autism and Special Educational Needs (SEN), and experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.

About the Role:
Tutors will work closely with students to assess their current abilities and develop a tailored learning plan that meets their individual needs. Lessons will take place either in a local library or the young person's home.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess student abilities and develop a tailored learning plan
• Provide one-to-one Maths and English support
• Work collaboratively with students to achieve their educational goals

Requirements:
• QTS or equivalent
• Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
• UK classroom teaching experience
• Creativity, patience, and willingness to think outside the box

Salary: £30-£40 per hour
