Supporting Young Minds Educator

As a Supporting Young Minds Educator at Polaris Community, you will play a vital role in creating a positive learning environment for students with Special Education Needs and Disabilities. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting wellbeing, readiness for learning, resilience, and behaviour management.
Key Duties:
• Collaborate with the education team to remove barriers to learning and promote positive learning behaviour
• Develop and lead classes, enrichment activities, and assist in lessons with academic or pastoral needs
• Create and collate information, assist in meeting preparation, and be an advocate for our ethos
• Lead on Reading and Phonics, and develop Pupil Voice and relationships with parents
• Utilise your expertise to support teachers in developing effective strategies for teaching students with SEMH
What We Offer:
