Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cisco Network Security Engineer to join our team at TRIA.

This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension, offering a competitive daily rate of £367 (inside IR35).

The role is based in York and requires 2 days a week in the office, with the option to work from home.

As a Networks and Security Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the Product Owner to develop a backlog of user stories and technical requirements.
  • Working with the Agile Delivery Lead to estimate work and ensure timely delivery.
  • Providing expert networking knowledge and supporting the squad in designing and executing projects.
  • Documenting work and providing handover to the BAU team for day-to-day operations.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders and team members.

Key skills and experience required include:

  1. Cisco Nexus Switches (7k, 9k), Cisco Routers (ASR and ISR series).
  2. Cisco ACI, including VMM integration, ESGs, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
  3. Recent experience with Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls, including configuration of VPNs.
  4. Familiarity with F5 (LTM / DNS / ASM) and Netscaler ADC.
  5. Knowledge of Infoblox DDI and Azure DNS.
