Job Title: Network Engineer

Investigo is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery and performance of our Wide and Local Area Network from its delivery partners and individual networks across our estate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day operational performance of the network to agreed SLAs and KPIs.
  • Changes to the network to meet ongoing business demands.
  • Delivering continuous service improvement.
  • Emergency response to critical incidents.
Key Areas of Focus:
  • Ensure effective operation of the IT network, including WAN, LAN, Wireless WAN, Internet and Cloud Service Access, Data Centre Connectivity, Secure Wi-Fi, and Azure networking.
  • Ensure all relevant network hardware, software/firmware is within supported life and work with vendors to obtain, schedule and implement updates.
  • Manage a cellular Wireless WAN and support networks for a large multi-site organisation.
  • Experience with Cisco Meraki, Firewalls, Kemp load balancers, and network security.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in Cisco Meraki, including configuration, deployment and installation.
  • Experience with Firewalls, Proven technical experience supporting LAN, WAN and WLAN.
  • Experience of running network security, managing a cellular Wireless WAN, and supporting networks for a large multi-site organisation.
  • Technical experience of Kemp load balancers, network systems and associated hardware including Switches, Routers, Firewalls.
  • Technical knowledge of both an on-premise and cloud Windows environment.
Qualifications:
  • CCNA.
  • CCNP (desirable).
