About the Role:

Kennedys is seeking an experienced Associate to support our catastrophic injury defendant personal injury team in our Birmingham office. The ideal candidate will have defendant motor claims experience and be able to run high-value catastrophic injury cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist on a variety of motor claims, including sensitive and high-profile cases reported in the national media.
  • Support the team in handling cases of the utmost severity, including brain injury, spinal injury, amputations, polytrauma, severe psychiatric injury, and loss of senses.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide exceptional client service and achieve outstanding results.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including large composite and motor insurers, London market insurers, and corporates.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in defendant personal injury defence work, with a focus on motor claims and catastrophic injury cases.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience of assisting on large cases and a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
