We are seeking a bright and enthusiastic student to join our Communications & Events team at BMW Group. As a placement student, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Communications Manager in generating plant information and story ideas to engage with external stakeholders. You will also have the opportunity to take ownership of managing some of our media channels, including the intranet, employee app, and digital signage.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Communications Manager in generating plant information and story ideas
- Manage some of our media channels, including the intranet, employee app, and digital signage
- Plan, organize, and execute events and visits for various audiences
- Contribute to the development of new initiatives and communications channels
- Support the department in keeping on top of our annual planner and collating communication measures for reporting
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a passion for engaging with and building relationships with people, and a flexible approach to working hours and travel. You will also need to be comfortable using and learning about a range of IT software and content management systems.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive annual salary of £24,950, 26 days holiday per annum (pro rata to your contract), and an attractive pension scheme.
