Product Manager Role

As a Product Manager at Caldic, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our products. Your key objectives will include setting strategies for long-term growth, influencing product sales by identifying cross-selling opportunities, and driving pipeline conversion through collaboration with Customer Development Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for product growth and expansion.
  • Work closely with the Customer Development Managers to identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities.
  • Drive pipeline conversion and ensure regular follow-up of product sales targets.
  • Maintain regular contact with suppliers to ensure smooth operations and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Organize product training, new launches, and product refreshers to ensure our products remain competitive.
  • Manage and negotiate contracts to ensure existing agreements are upheld.
  • Responsible for product inventory management, including stock rotation according to sales.
  • Develop sales pricing strategies for product groups and define price ranges.
  • Conduct market research to gather product-related market intelligence and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Source new products to extend our product portfolio.
  • Maintain the Product Marketing Portal to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager who is passionate about driving growth and success. You should have a strong understanding of the food manufacturing environment and be geographically located in the UK or willing to relocate.

Requirements

  • Experience in the food manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of ingredients and products.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Result-focused and persistent with a passion for product development and customer engagement.
