Job Title: Assembly Mechanic

Morson Talent is currently recruiting for an Assembly Mechanic to work on behalf of a reputable Aerospace client based in the UK. This role is a contract until April 2025, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair, overhaul, and modify various mechanical, pneumatic, heat transfer, electronic, air turbines, and electro-mechanical aircraft components in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform diagnostic fault finding, strip, initial inspection, parts call-up, build, and testing of final units to ensure compliance with Component Maintenance Manuals, Engineering drawing requirements, and customer requirements.
  • Interpret Component Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, and other technical data approved by the regulator to perform repair and overhaul duties.
  • Prioritize and process units to meet customer due dates and ensure quality standards are met.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of precision assembly work is desirable.
  • A recognized Engineering Apprenticeship is desirable but not essential.
  • Flexible approach to work and ability to function as part of a team within a lean manufacturing environment.
  • Customer focus and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
