Morson Talent is currently recruiting for an Assembly Mechanic to work on behalf of a reputable Aerospace client based in the UK. This role is a contract until April 2025, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:- Repair, overhaul, and modify various mechanical, pneumatic, heat transfer, electronic, air turbines, and electro-mechanical aircraft components in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform diagnostic fault finding, strip, initial inspection, parts call-up, build, and testing of final units to ensure compliance with Component Maintenance Manuals, Engineering drawing requirements, and customer requirements.
- Interpret Component Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, and other technical data approved by the regulator to perform repair and overhaul duties.
- Prioritize and process units to meet customer due dates and ensure quality standards are met.
- Previous experience of precision assembly work is desirable.
- A recognized Engineering Apprenticeship is desirable but not essential.
- Flexible approach to work and ability to function as part of a team within a lean manufacturing environment.
- Customer focus and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Opportunity to work with a reputable Aerospace client.
- Contract until April 2025 with the possibility of extension.
- Chance to develop skills and experience in precision assembly work.
