The Opportunity

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced tax professional to join our team. As a Senior Manager, you'll be responsible for managing UK and cross-border tax reporting and compliance projects, working closely with Partners and Directors to deliver technically excellent advice and service.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and understand their business needs to build your own external network and create opportunities to help with the provision of tax and other services.
  • Manage UK and cross-border teams on tax reporting and UK corporation tax compliance projects, liaising with specialists, overseas member firms, and external advisers to deliver successful projects and expertise to our clients.
  • Seek out and pursue opportunities with clients and targets, actively participating with Partners and Directors in business development activities.
  • Manage aspects of the team's operations and performance, including resourcing, coaching, and developing junior team members.
  • Be a role model for KPMG's values and lead by example.

What We're Looking For

  • A qualified CTA or ACA/CA or equivalent.
  • Ambitious and enthusiastic individual with strong UK corporation tax knowledge and awareness of other tax matters.
  • Strong understanding of tax accounting concepts under IFRS, UK GAAP (knowledge of US GAAP also desirable).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to work as part of a team and drive projects forward.
