Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrator to join our team at the UK Telecoms Lab (UKTL). As a trusted and independent national capability, UKTL interacts at the intersection of standards bodies, academia, Ofcom, Communications Service Providers, and telecommunication equipment vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the first point of contact, you will ensure the administration of the department is delivered smoothly and to the highest standard.
  • Supporting and reporting directly into UKTL's CEO and CTO, you will coordinate the team's duties to play to their strengths, whilst ensuring they deliver a high-level of customer service at all times.
  • Managing schedules of work, co-ordinating internal and external meetings, helping prepare and circulate documents.
  • Taking responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of the systems and databases – ensuring they are compliant and accurate.

Requirements

  • Ability to commute to the UKTL offices in Birmingham with the possibility of hybrid working.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience working in a similar role or supporting the latest ground-breaking cyber security and networking technologies.
