Job DescriptionWe're seeking an experienced and passionate EY & TA Apprenticeship Tutor to join our team in Cornwall. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in planning, coordinating, mentoring, and supporting apprentices in the Early Years Education sector from level 2 to level 5 and the Teaching Assistant role.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment: Conduct skills reviews with apprentices and employers to identify gaps, develop and implement individualized training plans, maintain candidate records, and perform workplace observations.
- Training: Create tailored action plans for candidates, deliver workplace training covering Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours, support English and Maths training, and provide tutorial support on Prevent, British Values, Personal Development, Behaviour, Welfare, Safeguarding, and additional learning needs.
- Coordination and Support: Monitor candidate progress, support portfolio completion and assessments, record and report on Additional Learning Support (ALS), and provide apprenticeship program information to employers and employees.
- Hold a qualification or have experience in the subject area
- Have up-to-date industry knowledge
- Hold Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy qualifications
- Have experience of working with employers in a training or customer relations role
- Able to develop strong professional relationships with employers and learners
- Strong IT skills and willingness to work with e-portfolio's
- Can motivate learners and ensure they complete on time
- Hold a full driving licence, have own vehicle, and be willing to travel to customer sites
