We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at MorePeople, one of the UK's leading suppliers of frozen vegetables, herbs, and fruit.
About the Job:
Salary:£50,000 - £60,000 per year
Job Description:
We are responsible for delivering high-quality products while prioritizing employee safety and efficiency. Our goal is to ensure a seamless supply chain that satisfies customer needs.
You'll be responsible for carrying out day-to-day tasks such as regular equipment checks, responding to breakdowns, and performing scheduled maintenance on plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of plant and equipment to identify any potential issues
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on machinery and electrical systems
- Work effectively with other departments to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations
- Liaise with senior management to plan and execute long-term maintenance strategies
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new processes for continuous improvement
