Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Production Operative to join our busy team at our Shaftesbury site. As a key member of our Productions team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines, maintaining high-quality standards, and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Place products onto the moving production line at designated stations.
  • Mix and load ingredients into machines, ensuring accurate measurements and quality control.
  • Monitor and maintain the correct formation of products.
  • Decant finished products from racks and ensure proper storage.
  • Pack finished items into relevant packaging, adhering to quality and safety standards.
  • Assist in all areas of production, including manufacturing, packing, and dispatch.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Stack trays and baskets safely, following site procedures.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed and adhered to.
  • Participate in training to progress your skills and career.
Requirements
  • Basic English skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision, following instructions.
  • Reliability, hard work, and ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good attendance, flexibility to hours, and punctuality.
  • Willingness to learn and progress in your role.
