Early Years SEN Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our team. As a specialist in SEN, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support and guidance to children with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver the EYFS curriculum to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Create a caring and nurturing environment that fosters the growth and development of all children.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
  • Regularly monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods and interventions as necessary to address emerging needs and challenges.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • At least two years of experience teaching in early years.
  • A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and strong communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team.
