Job Description
Vistry Group seeks an experienced Solicitor to provide construction legal services to our London and regional divisions. This role involves reviewing tenders, flowing down supply chain documents, and providing generic legal advice to stakeholders. The successful candidate will have excellent negotiation and networking skills, a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload.

Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Reviewing tender documentation, including JCT DB SoA and bespoke construction contracts;
  • Ensuring compliance with supply chain documents from development agreements or JCT DB/bespoke construction contracts;
  • Providing guidance on consultant appointments and sub/trade contractor comments on supply chain documents;
  • Developing and delivering in-house legal training to stakeholders;
  • Maintaining and updating precedents;
  • Reviewing confidentiality agreements;
  • Assisting with project queries/issues and disputes;
  • Providing generic legal advice/signposting to stakeholders.

Requirements
We require an experienced construction solicitor with 4 years PQE and excellent negotiation and networking skills. You should have a practical approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload. A systematic approach to working practices and the ability to influence others are also essential.
