About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer Lead to join our team in Coventry. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of maintenance engineers to ensure the smooth operation of our automated warehouse equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the leadership of the system maintenance engineering team.
  2. Provide expert guidance to engineers as an escalation point to resolve queries and support with learning and understanding.
  3. Complete manufacturing/production line tasks as requested or identified and record/report activities and or actions in appropriate databases or related systems.
  4. Accountable for the performance of the automated warehouse equipment, including AMR, ASRS, and sorters.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in senior maintenance engineering roles supporting and leading staff across multiple shift patterns on automated warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Highly developed computer skills, including Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables and familiarity with common formulas), Word, Visio or equivalent, and Project Management software are required.
