Equipment Technician Role

MBS Lighting UK Limited is seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to join our team. As an Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and testing of our lighting, rigging, and other supporting rental assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Preparation and Maintenance: Ensure all rental assets are properly prepared and maintained to meet the highest quality standards.
  • Testing and Inspection: Conduct thorough testing and inspection of all rental assets to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately track and manage inventory to ensure all equipment is correctly stored and accounted for.
  • Dispatch and Logistics: Ensure all equipment is dispatched to the correct location at the correct time.
  • Minor Repairs and Maintenance: Perform minor repairs and maintenance on equipment as needed.
  • Damage Reporting: Report any damages to the relevant department supervisor for repair.
  • Quality Control: Proactively drive the pace of testing to ensure sufficient assets are maintained at a "ready to rent" status at all times.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team.
