About the Role
Doncaster Council is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Educational Psychologist to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the Educational Psychology Service, you will play a vital role in promoting positive outcomes for children and young people across the borough.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with children, parents, schools, and other agencies to apply the principles of the SEN Code of Practice
- Conduct assessments, provide advice, and develop strategies to support children and young people's educational and psychological development
- Engage in consultation, training, research, and development to further the service's goals and objectives
- Promote inclusive education and celebrate diversity in the lives of children and young people

Requirements
- Qualification in Educational Psychology or equivalent
- HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Sound knowledge of psychological research and practice relevant to children and young people's development
