AWE is looking for a skilled Procurement and Contract Specialist to support the Supply Chain function across processes, systems, supplier management, governance, and reporting.

This role requires SC Clearance, with a minimum requirement of being eligible and willing to undergo these checks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist support to the Supply Chain function, including process reviews and user training.
  • Manage and maintain SCM data, including electronic purchasing systems, contractual/supplier records, and document libraries.
  • Provision of business reports in accordance with the functional governance schedule or as required by line/task Manager.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Support change and champion best practice to promote the SCM function.
  • Promote a fully evaluated and approved supply base.

AWE participates in the Disability Confident Scheme and the Armed Forces Covenant, guaranteeing interviews for eligible candidates. The successful candidate will be part of the Public Sector Resourcing team, managed by AMS. This role falls in scope of the Off Payroll Working in the Public Sector legislation, with rates of payment subject to taxes and statutory costs. Estimated salary: £48,000 - £62,000 per annum.
