Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Equipment Technician Lead to join our team at ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY SERVICES, UK LIMITED. As a key member of our maintenance operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians in performing mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance tasks on various equipment and machinery. This includes identifying root causes of problems, dismantling and repairing defective parts, and performing tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of technicians in performing mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Identify and source parts, supplies, and repair items as necessary.
  • Independently perform maintenance tasks per industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze control systems to resolve software/hardware and configuration problems.
  • Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data.
  • Provide assistance to lower-level technicians and leadership to small teams.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have three or more years of related experience in general industry, or equivalent combination of relevant training and experience. You must understand electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems, and be able to analyze problems and perform repairs. Additionally, you must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate. May be required to travel.
