About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team at Fuller and Forbes Partnership. As a First Contact Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and making decisions about the best course of action for patients' care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical expertise and act as a first-contact physiotherapist, making decisions about the best course of action for patients' care.
  • Progress and request investigations to facilitate diagnosis and choice of treatment regime.
  • Deliver programmes of supported patient self-management, facilitating behavioural change and optimising individuals' physical activity and mobility.
  • Take professional responsibility as a first-contact physiotherapist, with high-level decision-making and clinical-reasoning skills to assess, diagnose and triage patients.
  • Manage a complex caseload, including patients with long-term conditions, comorbidities and multi-factorial needs.
  • Lead, manage and contribute to service delivery, ensuring care is proactive, preventive in focus and population-based.
  • Communicate effectively and appropriately with patients and carers, providing complex and sensitive information regarding diagnosis, pathology and prognosis.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Physiotherapist with:

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Experience in core physiotherapy and MSK physiotherapy.
  • Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
  • Ability to demonstrate in practice portfolio experience in core physiotherapy and MSK physiotherapy.
