About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our team at Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital. As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality physiotherapy care to patients with complex musculoskeletal conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with complex musculoskeletal conditions, including those masquerading as musculoskeletal pathology.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, underpinned by extensive clinical knowledge and skills, to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Manage a complex caseload, ensuring timely and effective discharge of patients from services.
  • Support and mentor less experienced colleagues, including physiotherapy assistants and administration staff, to enhance clinical outcomes and patient experience.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring best practice and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Active Health and Care Professions Council registration.
  • Postgraduate education and training in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports injuries.
  • Excellent manual therapy skills and ability to prioritize and manage a varied workload.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
