Property Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team on a £28M package of a £120M project. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on a major infrastructure project, providing groundworks and civil engineering expertise.

The project involves the construction of two buildings, one being a refurbishment and the other a new build. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utility and construction, with experience in gas and electrical packages and a working knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the quantity surveying function on a £28M package of a £120M project
• Work on a major infrastructure project, providing groundworks and civil engineering expertise
• Have a strong background in utility and construction, with experience in gas and electrical packages
• Have a working knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
• Be responsible for managing the project's budget and ensuring it is delivered on time and to the required quality

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years experience in a Managing Quantity Surveyor role
• A working knowledge of contract law and commercial practice
• Experience of working on ICHEME Burgundy Book contracts
