Job Title: Water Infrastructure Project Manager

Estimated Salary: £425 per day

About the Project:

We are working on a large-scale water infrastructure project in Kent, UK. The project involves delivering a range of civil engineering services, including designing and implementing new water treatment systems.

This is a day-rate position, offering a competitive salary of £425 per day for a 10 hour day shift. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Liaise with Site Agents to resolve resource-related issues promptly.
  2. Maintain accurate records of resources and materials.
  3. Deliver toolbox talks and issue method statements as required.
  4. Foster positive relationships between operatives, clients, contractors, suppliers, and public stakeholders.
  5. Interpret drawings and specifications accurately.
  6. Provide engineering expertise and support to the project team.
  7. E nsure accurate implementation of engineering controls.
  8. Produce 'as built' records of works completed.
  9. Develop Inspection and Test Plans for all project elements and supervise delivery.
  10. Measure and report compliance with systems and standards.
  11. Produce risk assessments and method statements for safe work execution.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • HND or Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • SMSTS and CSCS Card certification.
  • Experience in water projects with good knowledge of Civil Engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with NEC Contracts.
  • Experience in managing subcontractors.
