About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Industry Project Lead to join our client's team in South East England.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Mechanical Supervisor or Project Engineer to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of key projects within the water industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee and manage mechanical engineering projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to safety protocols, and budget control.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including design, procurement, and construction, to deliver projects that meet the highest standards.
  • Supervise and mentor site teams, promoting a culture of quality assurance and adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring satisfaction throughout project life cycles.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to mitigate risks.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in a similar role, particularly within the water or utilities sector.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, with hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly within the water industry.
  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.

What We Offer:

This role offers a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic team committed to innovation and quality.
