Job Title: Glasgow Infrastructure Technician

As part of Fairhurst's team in Glasgow, you'll play a key role in delivering integrated and high-quality services for our clients.

About the Role

This position offers the chance to work on major infrastructure projects across the UK, providing technical guidance and support to colleagues and clients.

  • Maintain adherence to our Quality Management System in all work activities.
  • Deliver technical expertise and training to colleagues, supporting their growth and development.
  • Effectively work in both supervised and unsupervised settings, ensuring precise technical content and timely completion of projects.
  • Inform the relevant team lead about technical issues linked to project work.
  • Collaborate with Project Technicians to develop CAD and 3D designs.
  • Ensure the quality of CAD and 3D modeling output.
  • Meet project needs by following company CAD standards and BIM protocols.
  • Develop federated 3D models to enhance coordination, collaboration, and innovation in construction projects.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by Project Engineers/Managers.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in technical written English.
  • An adaptable and enthusiastic attitude towards teamwork.
  • Self-confidence and capability to manage significant responsibilities in large-scale projects.
  • Familiarity with BS_1192_2007_A2_2016 and PAS 1192-2:2013 (desired).

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £65,000 per year along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
