Role Description

This Green Infrastructure Officer role will play a crucial part in reducing Glasgow City Council's energy demand and making a real difference in tackling the climate emergency. You will work closely with the Estates teams to provide energy management services, including monitoring and reporting utilities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating on project development.

Main Duties:

  1. Develop and deliver energy strategies, policies, and initiatives to enable an energy-efficient and sustainable organisation.
  2. Introduce, develop, and promote improved energy efficiency schemes.
  3. Collect, store, and process relevant data and information, creating accurate, timely records.
  4. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive energy reduction and develop cooperative working relationships.
  5. Liaise with the Estates teams and internal stakeholders for project development and delivery.

Estimated Salary: £38,000-£48,000 pa (dependent on experience)
