Finance Assistant Apprentice

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance team in Northampton as a Finance Assistant Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing efficient and accurate financial services to our legal advisors and other support functions.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the Accounts Rules in relation to all tasks.
- Process proformas and produce all types of bills (Individual, Multi matter bulk bills).
- Assist in the processing and input of information from spreadsheets for bill production.
- Work as part of a larger team to ensure bills are produced accurately and in a timely manner.
- Post fees and other charges daily.
- Liaise with other cashiering staff regarding other, dependant transactions.
- Respond to accounting queries.
- Carry out any transfers in accordance with Shoosmiths policies.
Requirements
- Positive attitude with a can-do approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good level of IT literacy, including Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to adapt and maintain high standards.
- Organized with a neat and tidy approach to working practices.
- Reliability, friendly, and helpful approach.
