Children's Hospice South West is a leading provider of hospice care and professional family support services in the South West of England. With over 30 years of experience, we have established a reputation for delivering high-quality, safe care and support to children and young people with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions.

The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead our organisation and take our strategy forward. As CEO, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing our strategic direction, ensuring we remain at the forefront of hospice care and support services in the South West.
- Leading our team of experienced professionals, ensuring we work together to deliver exceptional care and support to our children and families.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with our stakeholders, including our Board of Trustees, staff, volunteers, and external partners.
- Driving organisational change and improvement, ensuring we remain efficient and effective in our delivery of services.
- Developing and managing our resources, ensuring we have the necessary funding and support to deliver our mission.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrable senior leadership experience, preferably in the charitable sector.
- Experience of strong organisational governance and working collaboratively with a Board.
- Ability to develop and deliver strategy, drive organisational change, and manage resources effectively.
- Commercial and entrepreneurial skills, with a track record of effective financial and resource management.
- Inspirational and visionary leadership, with a collaborative and inclusive style.
- Successful stakeholder management and relationship building, with experience of engaging with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders.
- Highly skilled negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to adjust communications to different audiences.
- Interest in and commitment to the aims and objectives of Children's Hospice South West.
