About the Role

Priory Wellbeing Centre Canterbury is seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our CAMHS therapy team, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services to young people aged 7-17 years old.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver face-to-face and remote 1-to-1 therapy sessions to service users
  • Work collaboratively with the CAMHS team to provide a comprehensive therapy service
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, families, and other professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of therapy plans and interventions
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the overall functioning of the team
Requirements
  • Full accreditation in a relevant therapy modality (CBT, integrative therapy, counselling, and bereavement)
  • ADOS training and Eating Disorder speciality an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including after-school hours and Saturday mornings
  • Good computer skills and adaptability to learning new systems
