About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Intensive Home Treatment Team within our inpatient and community ChYPMHS crisis pathway. As a Multidisciplinary Mental Health Specialist, you will work with children and adolescents who present with mental health difficulties, providing therapeutic interventions and support to help them recover and thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for children and adolescents with complex mental health needs
  • Provide individual and group therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and family therapy
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, social workers, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care
  • Develop and maintain relationships with families and carers to ensure effective communication and support
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A professional qualification in a relevant field, such as nursing, social work, or occupational therapy
  • Experience of working with children and adolescents with complex mental health needs
  • Knowledge of therapeutic interventions and evidence-based practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
