Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations: Manage warehouse duties, including picking stock accurately and efficiently using handheld or mobile devices to scan, ensuring warehouse management system accuracy.
  • Picking, Packing, Shipping, Receiving, and Kitting: Pick, pack, ship, receive, and put away components in line with defined warehouse management policy.
  • Quality Control: Follow packing procedures and guidelines to meet defined quality standards, including the use of packing materials, methods, and techniques to protect items during transit and storage.
  • Inventory Control: Assist with inventory control by keeping accurate records of packed items, which plays a crucial role in inventory management and helps maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Housekeeping: Ensure areas are kept clean and tidy and standards are maintained at all times.
  • Health and Safety: Work in a team environment in a safe manner, adhering to site Health & Safety regulations and Safe Systems of Work.

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience is compulsory.
  • Attention to detail to accurately enable the correct management of stock.
  • Have appropriate hand, eye, and foot coordination to effectively use mechanical handling equipment safely.
  • Be reliable, self-motivated, a strong team player, and have a flexible approach to work.
  • Good communication skills to ensure contribution to a seamless warehouse operation.
  • FLT Counterbalance, VNA, pallet mover, or reach experience is compulsory.
