Job Title: Bids and Tenders Executive

We are seeking an experienced Bids and Tenders Executive to join our sales and marketing team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing all portal communications, leading on the firm's submissions for legal directories, and liaising with Fee Earners and other departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all portal communications, including annual submissions into directories and B2B tender portals.
  • Lead on the firm's submissions for legal directories and maintain a tracker of historical rankings.
  • Liaise with Fee Earners and other departments, collate information, and draft submission documents.
  • Prepare tender proposals, including logging key dates in stakeholders' calendars and monitoring progress to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure all new opportunities are accurately captured on in-house systems.
  • Organise and maintain various electronic folders containing copies of tenders, presentations, company policies, and other reference material.
  • Research and analyse industry trends, priority sectors, and competitive landscapes.
  • Prepare and send introductory emails to prospects.
  • Undertake and monitor research to provide support for Fee Earners and the business development team.
  • Develop presentation and proposal materials for client pitches.
  • Review and analyse incoming 'new client enquiries'.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating business contacts.
  • Develop and maintain administrative systems, reports, analyses, and dashboards.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of working with tender portals.
  • A proven business development professional with a minimum 3 years of project management experience, ideally within professional services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
  • Excellent technical skills to navigate IT systems and an ability to review and interpret data.
  • A solid education background with a relevant business or marketing qualification.
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills in English.
